Our Delivery Policies

By accessing, browsing or using this website, you agree to the terms, conditions and disclaimers. By purchasing an item advertised on this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Same Day Delivery:

When placing an order with us here at Moreton Bay Florist please select your desired delivery date at checkout - same day delivery cut-off is 10am unless we are fully booked with couriers prior. 

Delivery Times:

We do not accept timed deliveries - our delivery region is quite large so we are unable to offer a timed delivery service. *Funeral services, businesses and schools are exempt from this - please see below*

  • Business and school addresses will be delivered within the appropriate times. (Businesses 9am - 5pm) & (Schools 9am - 2:30pm) 
  • Funeral flowers will be delivered by the specified time that has been selected at check-out. 

 Any timed deliveries to businesses, schools or funeral services must be pre-arranged and ordered in advance.

Important Delivery Information

If the recipient is not at home at the time of delivery, we will find a place we deem to be safe  to leave the flowers, and a calling card will be left, advising of where we have left the delivery, however we are not responsible for deliveries if the recipient is not at the location at the time of delivery.

It is up to you to ensure that someone will be available to receive the delivery. If there is no safe place to leave the flowers, they will be returned to our studio. A 2nd delivery fee will be payable for re-delivery.

Hospital deliveries

We deliver to hospitals within our area, we always call to check the patient is still in hospital before the flowers and / or gifts have left our studio.

In most cases we are unable to give the flowers direct to the patient -instead hospital reception or ward staff take the gift to the patient. 

We email you to say your gift has been delivered to the hospital but you may wish to follow up with the hospital to ensure staff have taken the gift to the recipient. 

*During Covid lockdowns please note that the above still applies*  

If the recipient has been discharged from hospital between when they leave our studio to the time that they are delivered, then the flowers will be returned to our studio, and we will contact you to obtain the home address. A 2nd delivery fee may be charged. The patient being discharged is not cause to cancel your order once flowers have been made.

Nursing Home Deliveries 

We deliver to nursing homes within our area, however we require an exact address including the name, unit / ward number and phone number. 

In most cases we are unable to give the flowers direct to the recipient - reception or ward staff take the gift to the patient as that is as far as our couriers may be allowed.

Once the gift has been delivered to the facility it is out of our control - we email you to say your gift has been delivered to the nursing home but you may wish to follow up with the nursing home to ensure staff have taken the gift to the recipient.

Wrong Addresses:

If you have given us a wrong address we are more than willing to redeliver your order - however a re-deliver fee may be applicable. 

Delivery Charges:

To avoid delay with your order, if you select the incorrect delivery charge when using our checkout, we reserve the right to charge your account the additional amount without confirmation.

Our Guarantee:

We guarantee to deliver your flowers as requested. We also guarantee that your flowers will be delivered by a professional driver, in an air conditioned vehicle. If the recipient is not at home, the delivery driver will note where the flowers were left and a photo will be taken of the flowers in that location.

Peak Period Delivery Information *Valentines Day & Mothers Day*

Deliveries for our peak trading days will be between 7am and 6pm.  Timed deliveries, such as AM or PM or specific times can not be allocated for these days due to the high volume of orders being delivered.

Please ensure the recipient will be available at the allocated address during these hours. If delivering to a work address, please advise us of the recipients working hours and a backup delivery address in the notes section.
